You’d have to be living under a rock in the UK to not realise it’s currently election season – and we’re in the final furlong now running up to Election 2019 on Thursday 12th December 2019.
And that means, another DPS Politics update – delivered live to the website for your electoral pleasure.
So, what’s changed?
Public Profiles
Just who is that prolific voter!? P.S. it’s probably me! Wonder now more as public profiles are here.
From the dashboard, when you see users in the ‘Top Voters’ section you can now click on them to reveal their profile:
Wonder what party they’re supporting? Wonder no more. Oh, they’re independent:
Party Leaders (& Party UI Revamp)
You’ve seen them on the campaign trail. Just who are they again? BoJo? Jezza? Farrage? Wonder no more, Party Leaders have been introduced to DPS:
This isn’t just a game – it’s an education!
We’ve also spruced up the User Interface from the last version to make it cleaner and to make way for our leaders. Click on the party names and you get through to the familiar party details screen.
General UI Improvements & Bug Fixes
We always like to throw a few of these in (fixes, not bugs). There’s always some work to do and there’s no time like the present.
We’ve replaced the lorum ipsum text (oops!) on the ‘Create Policy’ page with an inspiring message:
We’ve also got a nice little profile icon to make it easier to visit your own profile:
And, of course, the ticket has been updated for Election 2019:
That’s a wrap – hope you enjoy the new bells and whistles – look out for more to follow shortly!

Happy politicking!
