Description
Facebook is a social networking site which originally started life in the United States – a creation of student Mark Zuckerburg. Facebook has since gone global and now accepts registrations from everyone. Facebook allows you to build your own profile as well as play games, send messages and chat.
Review
Facebook is no doubt one of the kings of social networking. Originally only available to University students in the US its now gone global and ever since has generated an ever growing user base and popularity. The site can be used to organise events, chat to friends and play games. Its main rivals appear to be MySpace and Bebo. Facebook currently appears to be ahead of its rivals in the popularity charts and, although coming in for critisism on occasions on issues such as privacy, remains an extremely popular website.
